Our Approach

VBX is committed to developing and operating the Wuudagu Bauxite Project in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the International Aluminium Institute's Sustainable Bauxite Mining Guidelines which are globally recognised as best practice industry standards.

We are working closely with the Wunambal Gaambera Traditional Owners to plan and implement a responsible resource development that contributes to the environmental and cultural management of Wunambal Gaambera Country and the broader North Kimberley region.

Significant work has been undertaken to understand how the Wuudagu Bauxite Project interacts with and could support Wunambal Gaambera’s Healthy Country Plan.

VBX is committed to complying with the highest standards of corporate governance to ensure that all of its business activities are conducted fairly, honestly and with integrity in compliance with all applicable laws.  

To achieve this, VBX’s Board has adopted a number of charters and policies which aim to ensure that shareholder value is created whilst accountability and controls are commensurate with the risks involved.
